Nelia Barkhordar, DDS

Dr. Nelia Barkhordar received her microbiology bachelors of science degree from University of California at Berkeley, and continued her professional education where she graduated from University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco.
Dr. Nelia comes from a family of Dentists, including her father and two siblings Nicole and Josh. Since most family dinners consist of discussing teeth, her passion never quits! She loves being a dentist because she can improve someone’s health, give them a beautiful smile, and improve their confidence and feel better than before.
Dr. Nelia always keeps up to date with continuing education and is fully trained in Invisalign clear orthodontic aligners, Laser treatment, advanced dentistry, digital dentistry workflows, Air Abrasion (fillings without a shot or drill), Cosmetic Dentistry, and Prosthodontics (crowns and bridges).
Nicole Barkhordar, DDS, M.Ed

Dr. Nicole Barkhordar is a Board Certified Endodontist specializing in Root Canal Treatment and Microsurgery. Dr. Nicole earned her Certificate of Endodontics degree from Harvard School of Dental Medicine and her Masters in Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of California San Francisco.
She has been published in the Journal of Materials Science and Engineering for her research in bone as it pertains to Dental Implants at the University of California San Francisco.
Dr. Nicole treats each case with a Dental Microscope in order to provide highly successful, modern and minimally invasive root canal treatment and regenerative treatment. She believes in providing skillful, compassionate, and high-quality dental care in a comfortable and professional environment.
She is an active member of the American Association of Endodontics, American Board of Endodontics, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Los Angeles County Dental Society and the Alpha Omega Dental Society.
Dr. Nicole is a Faculty Member at UCLA School of Dentistry Dr. Nicole has held teaching positions at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, and University of the California San Francisco School of Dentistry.
Dr. Nicole enjoys playing the piano and outdoor activities, and is fluent in Spanish and Farsi.
Rahmat Barkhordar, DMD
Board Certified Periodontist, Endodontist, & Implantologist
Dr. Barkhordar is a board certified Periodontist (gum specialist) and Endodontist (root canal specialist) and is therefore able to comprehensively address all dental and oral health needs. Dr. Rahmat graduated with a dual specialty dental degree from University of Pennsylvania, College of Dentistry and has been a storied faculty member of University of California San Francisco (UCSF) School of Dentistry in the Endodontics Department, as well as a faculty member of University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in the Periodontics Department. He has been in private practice for more than 30 years providing comprehensive dental and specialty care in the Bay Area. His favorite activities include going to Yosemite, Carmel and Monterey, spending time with family, children and his grandchildren, and taking our family dog Louie for daily walks!
